Creating an Outdoor Classroom
Some projects are about more than transforming a landscape—they're about creating a place where people can learn, gather, and grow. Today, the garden provides children with a welcoming outdoor classroom where they can explore, discover, and build a lifelong appreciation for the natural world.
The Challenge
The preschool's outdoor space struggled with poor drainage and limited opportunities for outdoor learning. The goal was to create a landscape that was safe, functional, and inspiring for children while supporting the school's educational mission.
Our Approach
Every decision was made with long-term success in mind. Drainage improvements established a healthy foundation for the garden, while irrigation, thoughtful plant selection, and natural materials created a space that is both beautiful and durable for daily use.
